It’s been 4 months since our first Climate Camp in July and it’s so exciting to see the followup that has taken place.  First, we had the podcast hosted by Kathy Sipple which was recorded during the camp itself.   Jim Poyser, camp leader and Youth Power Indiana director wrote a summary piece about the camp a few weeks after we hosted it. And recently, Julia McKenna, a ninth grader and one of our teen participants, has written a beautiful and inspirational essay about her impressions of the camp.

On Wednesday evening, Dec. 2, 2015, at 7:30 pm the Good Shepherd Montessori School Junior High class is  hosting a presentation on climate change which will include a call to action.  As our world leaders begin the Climate Conference in Paris this week, it’s great to see Indiana and our local teens involved in climate action.  We’re looking forward to seeing how the next chapter in Michiana climate activism will unfold!
