The best way to find out about Prairie Winds Farm and what it can offer your child, family, or group, is to contact me directly at 574-291-9943.  I provide educational and fun field trips and curriculum development for kids of all ages.  I'm also willing to visit your classroom.  I have lots of slides (these are only a sampling) and other props I can bring.  I do not employ any expensive marketing tools; you can see how primitive I am with websites! :)   I do have a brochure which I would be happy to send you.  Together we decide on the activities taking into consideration the weather/season, your group's size, ages of the children, and their interests.  We currently have preschool and elementary aged groups visiting on a regular basis, integrating the activities of the farm into the academic curriculum.  One time field trips are also available as the calendar permits.  A good way to evaluate what we have to offer would be to visit and/or sign up for a field trip.  Our introductory price is only $3 per child per visit.  We subscribe to the tenets of No Child Left Inside as inspired by the book "Last Child in the Woods" by Richard Louvre.  REAL = Respect the Earth and Life; Let's start a movement!!
